The two Alnico 5 permanent magnets are aligned with the same-like magnetic poles in opposition to each other.

The Hypertron wheel blade is fully blocking the opposing magnetic fields of magnet MA and MB

The magnets are attracted to the blade, but preventing from actual physical contact by a small air gap.  The air gap allows the Hypertron blade to travel through the magnetic fields with minimal resistance.

The magnets are in their full-forward position, being attracted to the blade, in this half-cycle of the reciprocation..

The Hypertron wheel blade has cleared the gap area and the magnets are moving to, or are already in, the fully-rearward position, being forced apart by the respectively opposing magnetic fields.

The next Hypertron wheel blade has re-entered the gap area and the magnets are moving toward the blade.
